4 Random Facts and an Upcoming Event

1. I’m going to high school in September. Like HIGH school not HOME school. Talk about being nervous.

2. My Meyers-briggs personality type is ISFP. (Do you know your personality type? Let me know in the comments!)

3. Cotton candy was invented by a dentist (mwahaha… that’s just plain scandalous).

4. The ‘like’ button on Facebook was originally gonna be the ‘awesome’ button. πŸ‘

And now, folks, for some exciting news!

On August 18, I signed my manuscript, The Bruised Dream, over to Word Alive Press. They’re a Canadian hybrid publisher.

I’m really excited but a little nervous. It’s all in God’s hands, and He’ll direct the path. I have to keep reminding myself that.

It took me forever to decide if I wanted to self-publish or traditional, but I finally settled on hybrid. I know I’ll learn a lot from this experience!

This week the documents will get processed, and soon after I’ll be filling out details of my vision.

The Bruised Dream is going to be published!! By next year I should have a paperback copy in my hands.

It was all through Jesus that I made it this far! ❀

    1. Thank you so much, Eden!! ☺️I’m super excited about the whole thing, but it’s a bit of a surprise. I kinda thought I’d self-publish. But I think I’m glad I’m not (not that its a bad thing, though). It’ll be a really fun experience!

  2. Hey, Bama. It’s gonna be a bit strange for me with you going to school, but I’m sure you’ll do fine, and have fun. πŸ™‚ And good job on your story! You’ve put a lot of work into it, and I’m so privileged to have been there to see the work unfold.

    1. Thanks, Olivia! I’m really gonna miss our days studying together. ❀️ Sometimes I think of all the privileges of homeschooling and think, “What on earth am I doing???” But that’s ok. πŸ˜‰ It’ll be good for me.
